Our new Youth and Young Adults Minister will be someone with a strong spiritualgrounding in Christ, possibly Episcopalian, though at the least will have an understandingof Episcopalian theology, culture and ethos. He or she will have an open mind and awillingness to risk and to learn, will be a “people person,” and an attentive listener, someone that our youth and young adults can trust and come to in times of need. She or he will have experience working with youth and young adults. Our new Youthand Young Adults Minister will have experience developing community and leadership, and in working with volunteers, and will be well-organized, detail-oriented, a teamplayer, and have a good sense of humor—our Staff spends a good deal of time inlaughter, it keeps us healthy and well. While a baccalaureate degree or higher is desirable, experience and other qualities maysubstitute for higher education. Safeguarding God’s People training and a successfulbackground check are required for our final candidate.
