Episcopal Community Services

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) was founded in 1927 as the outreach arm of the Diocese of San Diego. Our long-standing mission of serving God by serving those in need through programs that foster hope, dignity and independence is fulfilled by compassionate churches, generous donors and faithful volunteers to improve the lives of thousands of children and adults every day.

Services in San Diego County include: emergency assistance for women and

children fleeing domestic violence and for homless adults with mental illness.

Services in Coachella Valley include: transitional housing for homeless adults who are disabled or HIV positive; permanent housing for disabled adults; walk-in centers for homless adults; services for homeless families; head start for children; behavioral health and substance abuse services.
