Spiritual Gifts Workshop at St. Bartholomew's, Poway
A special Saturday workshop you won’t want to miss! This seminar is all about discovering our spiritual gifts, and about a lifelong process of developing and using them for the service of God and for “building up of the Body of Christ.” “Discerning Your Spiritual Gifts” will be presented by the Rev. Canon Steve Wendfeldt at St. Bartholomew’s on May 17, 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. A continental breakfast and lunch included. Cost $15.00. Memorial Day Service at St. Peter's, Del Mar
The annual Del Mar Community Memorial Day Service will be held at St. Peter's on Monday, May 26, 11:00 am. Colonel Pete Iverson (US Marine Corps, Retired) will speak. Bible Drama Camp at St. James, La Jolla
June 17 - 22 St. James hosts a drama day camp for children going into 2nd grade and up! In addition to acting short plays each day, kids will also practice and perform the musical, The Good Samaritan, for the sermon on Sunday June 22. Episcopal Night at the Padres
Saturday, July 12 at 7:05 pm the San Diego Padres take on the Atlanta Braves! We're looking forward to some summer fun as a big group.

St. Dunstan's Heads to Alaska
This parish has had enough of San Diego's sunshine! They're planning a cruise to Alaska in August to experience some cold, not to mention beautiful scenery and wildlife. Pilgrimage to the Holy Land
St. Bartholomew's, Poway, will escort a group to Israel on October 21 - 31, 2008. Pilgrims will travel to Tel Aviv, Nazareth and Jerusalem and will see sights such as: the Sea of Galilee, the Upper Room, Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Golgotha, the Tomb, Dome of the Rock, the Wailing Wall and much more. Special audiences have been arranged. The Rev. Fred Thayer and the Rt. Rev Samir Kafity, retired Primate of Jerusalem and the Middle East will escort the tour. Cost: $2,817. Woman's Cancer Support Group
St. Andrew's, La Mesa, hosts a Woman's Cancer Prayer Support Group on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month in the Parish Hall.
