Gifts & Donations
The ministry of the Diocese depends entirely upon the generosity of people committed to its mission and ministry. (It does not receive support from the national Episcopal Church but rather contributes to the national Church’s budget.) Much of the support received by the Diocese for its work comes to it indirectly, i.e., through the collective contributions of the Diocese’s constituent churches.
At the same time, the Diocese welcomes direct support from its members and friends. Gifts may be made in honor of an individual or couple important to the donor and/or in recognition of a special occasion. They may also be made in loving memory of departed family members or friends. Donors may designate their gifts for use by a particular diocesan ministry or purpose (such as the Bishop’s Discretionary Fund). Undesignated gifts will be used for general purposes.
