The Happening Movement
Does Christianity have meaning today? Can it change our world? Can it speak to today's teenage? Can today's teenager really encounter Christ? The Happening Movement says YES! The Happening experience provides an outreach through which one's spiritual living (spirituality) may be developed, lived and shared in fellowship with others.

Weekend Format
Happening begins on Friday evning and ends on Sunday afternoon. During the two days, the Happeners (as the attendees are called) listen to talks by other teens and adults. The staff spends weeks working and praying together in preparation.
The titles of the talks indicate some of their content: Reality, Faith, Grace, Sacramental Living, Jesus Christ, the Apostolate, and Piety. Following some of the talks, the Happeners participate in small group activities and discussions.
Who can attend?
Happening is open to second semester 9th - 12th graders who are interested in finding out more about a closer walk with Jesus and finding a supportive Christian community of peers.
